processed soy products as they contain xenoestrogens from processing.
Our phytoestrogen complex has soy extract in it in its indended form.
You see, when soy isn't processed or has pesticides or other chemicals
used on it, it naturally contains phytoestrogen, which is very
balancing to the female hormones in the body. Xenoestrogen, on the
other hand, causes hormonal chaos. So, naturally, doTERRA is staying
as far away from prodicing a product with xenoestrogens in it as they
possibly can.
There is a webinar by Dr. Hill that explains female hormones and
eating foods with phytoestrogen versus xenoestrogens on
builddoterra.com. It's very fascinating and I would highly reccomend
it. It was through this webinar that I found that I was estrogen
dominant and was able to take steps to get it confirmed by a
chiropractor with homeopathic training and then get it treated. This
was before doTERRA came out with the phytoestrogen complex, so I had
to change the way I prepared my food (I still do that anyway because
it's just a good idea) as well as use a progesterone cream, which
worked a little, but not as much as I needed it to work for me (plus,
the cream left a residue. YUCK!). These pills, on the other hand,
worked extremely well for me. My skin was clearing up from hormonal
breakouts that I've been struggling with since i was in my mid-teens
as well as my skin felt much softer. I'm speaking in past-tense
because i had to go off of all of my beloved supplements in order to
make sure that a test that is being done on me for possible narcolepsy
or hypersomnia can be as accurate as possible so I can get that
treated correctly. I can hardly wait to get back on my supplements. I
felt (and looked) so much better while taking them.
