[Everything doTERRA] Deodorant recipe

From my chiropractor's blog:

"First, I have experimented with diluting the deodorant essential oils recipe in fractionated coconut oil, witch hazel, and alcohol. All the above are legitimate agents that you can use, and if you find the oils to remain effective they are good options. I however, did not like any of them for different reasons. I found the oils much more effective as a deodorant if applied "neat" to the underarm.
.
Second, I have been concerned about cost. Which is of course why I was looking into dilution. I found what I believe to be a better solution.
LEMON! Yep… Lemon is cheap -and very very effective.
I also needed a solution that did not involve Clary Sage, as well. I love Clary Sage, but I did not like having to caution a pregnant woman against using my deodorant. Especially when I feel strongly that this approach can be an aid in preventing breast cancer.

So here is my new recipe:
Take a 10 ml roll-on -empty.

Add 5 ml of lemon (1/2 the empty roll-on bottle)
Add 20 drops grapefruit
Add 20 drops Purify Blend
Add 20 drops Lavender
Add 15 drops Patchouli
Add 10 drops Frankincense

Thanks to the lemon, the overall cost is only about $10 to $12. I was paying $10 for Burts Bees deodorant which was mostly alcohol and low-grade essential oils. Plus you get the health benefits of having daily frankincense exposure, the detoxing capabilities of Purify, odor producing bacteria killing effects of the lemon, the cellulite reducing effects of grapefruit, and the grounding effect of Patchouli!

It is important to realize, that although you can play with this mixture, you will need to have a heavy or low tone oil like Patchouli, Sandalwood, Myrrh, or Vetiver if you want the deodorant to be effective all day. The heavy oils dramatically lengthen the time it is active on your skin.

Also, if the blend feels too strong for your skin, reduce the Purify and Grapefruit by 5 drops each and increase the Lavender by 10 drops."
