Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Staph Infection

That is for sure a tough spot to be in and I would probably just do the oils anyway, in addition to the meds.  We know the oils don't
interfere with meds, so my thought is, it can't hurt & may be the only thing to help.  Staph is horrible and not to be taken lightly.

Wow! Thank you all so much for this information. I shared the information in the book as well as what I posted here with the family. Here was the response in italics:

Interesting to talk to the Rx. guy that is in charge of the meds that are going to take to get him through all this.......he said because of the Plavix and the Dialantin he isn't to take ANYTHING on his skin or in his body.   He very well could have another seizure if anything conflicted with anything else.  The meds they have him on are heavy duty stuff and if there is 'anything' else put in him it could keep them from killing the staff.     At this point killing the staff is all that can be done.   I realize that antibiotics and probiotics have a terrific value, but they won't even have him take anything that is "pro" because he has to have all the "anti" that he can make his body absorb.   This is really serious stuff and it can kill you (and fast).   He is down to just over 160# and is so skinny, but I HAVE to do what the Dr's say.     Thanks for all the good thoughts and "investigation" but for now I have to do as I'm instructed so that things don't get worse.   (((all this came to a head in 3 days))) but could have been in his system for a long time  (it could have come from a cut or puncture months or maybe even years ago but just came to a head.

I'm just curious how you all would respond. My first thought is of course the Rx guy doesn't want you to try something natural because that doesn't put money in his pocket! What do you all think? On the other hand, this sounds very scary to experiment with.

Thank you so much for your help and I'll keep you posted.

What a great testimonial!  I think I will read that part of my ME book again.  I like that you said, "have confidence."

Monday one of my friends had an operation to get her gall bladder out--
fast forward to Wednesday night---I called her to see how she was
doing and she said she had a staff infection and had been to the
instacare and they had put her on some very aggressive anti
biotics!  ....

I went to her home and did Aroma Touch foot with the following oils:
2 drops On Guard
2 drops melaleuca
3 drops Oregano

Layered them on and then did the aroma touch foot massage--I did this
on both feet.

I also added a mixture of equal parts lemongrass and myrrh because her
muscles in her calf were so tight--and I just dropped it on and
massaged it in after the foot massage.

fast forward to today--I called her to tell her she needed the GX
assist and she told me all of her redness had gone away and the wound
was healing nicely

I repeated this foot treatment today and she commented to me that she
felt so much better and was planning on returning to work on Friday.

I didn't put this on her stomach because of the burning and the pain
but I knew that the foot would be a good place.  just checking I asked
her if any part of her foot hurt and she indicated the reflex point
for her stomach--so I knew it would work because that is the incision
that was infected.

I am telling you---these oils when used correctly and quickly work
amazingly well!  Have confidence that you can do it and then get the
knowledge so you can do it!  I learned how to do the Aroma Touch Foot
technique by reading the description in the Modern Essentials book.  I
have been practicing on my kids nightly with this same technique.

You can do it!
