Mixing the oils with FCO does not dilute the potency per drop of
essential oil. What mixing does do is make it easier to use a partial
drop on infants and small animals (or if it's smell that's more than
you like), cover more surface per drop of E.O., slow down evaporation
so the body absorbs more of it, and it sometimes seems to extend the
amount of time one feels relief from aches and pains.
