I've done it a few times once for the full ten days and the other times a bit less. Works best in spring or summer.  Just drink as much as you want to avoid feeling hungry.  I think it's good to do these kinds of cleanses now and again to un-addict ourselves from bad food.  Great way to drop a few pounds. The maple syrup will continue to feed candida so it will not travel deeper into the body which is a major problem with water only fasting.  I would definitely follow up with probiotics and green foods, chia, coconut products, etc afterward.

If you've never done cleansing expect a headache the first day or two especially if you have excess fat on your body since fat is full of toxins and they will be released.
