It may sound odd, but drinking water with lemon (or lime) really helps me focus - and when I focus I feel less anxious.

We're all different but starting with lemon in water is something just about anyone (even stubborn teens) may enjoy. Mention it for the taste and/or as a way to drink more water, not as a end-solution.
