also add back in healthy fat. Because vegetarian means a lot of
different things to a lot of different people, ignore me if I offend, it
is unintended.
Do you feel better than you did before your vegetarian diet?
Do you look as though you have lost too much weight?
Has anyone commented or expressed concern that you have lost too much
weight?
It actually isn't uncommon for some women to weigh less than they did in
high school once they hit a certain age. I have a handful of friends and
relatives that had this happen, it is just whether you are a healthy weight.
If you have a smart phone, program it to remind you to eat. Ideally, six
small meals a day or 3 regular meals with 2 snacks. Always eat something
within an hour of getting up.
Add in more eggs, nuts, yogurts, cottage cheese, peanut/almond butter.
If you are using low fat things like low fat cheese, 1/2 and 1/2 cottage
cheese, etc. switch to the higher fat content. Foods like lasagne and
mac and cheese are great for increasing intake. But go slow, we don't
want to have the opposite problem. Remembering to eat probably will go
along way. I always keep pistachios, cashews, hard boiled eggs and
cottage cheese on hand for when I forget to eat and need something quick.
