Re: [Everything doTERRA] cancer

I don't think firing her is an option they'd consider. They did a bunch of research and she is part of a program that has the highest success rate in the area. The doc doesn't disagree with probiotics, just doesn't want them to use PB Assist. Apparently they aren't using traditional chemo, but a milder chemo that is endorsed by the organization that is having good success, I think its the cancer institute of america or something like that, don't quote me though. I'm getting the impression that the doc isn't familiar at all with doTerra, and probably isn't likely to do any research on it.  The IPC would like to use the doterra cancer protocol but is fearful because of the docs warnings.

I'd be firing her. Chemo is far more toxic than any possible speck of impurity that could be in any oil.  This woman does not know what she is doing. Trust me on this one. I've been through a lot of doctors and naturopaths in my life. Probiotics are PRO-Life and CRUCIAL for anyone on chemo!!! 70% of our immune system is in our bowel region.  Honestly this woman should not have a license to "practice".  I would not put my life into her hands.  If the woman survives the chemo she needs all the help she can get.  Just my two cents (I used to work for a holistic MD so know both sides of the game firsthand). There are several others on this board who have had cancer and done chemo so hopefully they see your message.  If not please search the archives!

I have a fellow IPC whose mother was diagnosed with cancer. It is very serious and they've started Chemo and are seeing a nature-path. The problem is that the nature-path doesn't want the patient ingesting any essential oils. She says with the decreased immune system it could be very dangerous because of potential impurities, etc. She won't even consider PB Assist. So they are taking the oils from the cancer protocol and applying topically to the area where the cancer is.
