[Everything doTERRA] Re: Nursing mother and infant with RSV, ear infection, pink eye....

We use an herbal ear oil for ear infections. There are several
brands. I just make sure the oil has mullein, garlic and st.john's
wort I think the one we use is Gaia Kids. It stops the pain as well as
dealing with infections of either viral or bacterial nature. I
generally only have to apply it a couple of times through the night.
We love the stuff. I warm it in warm water and put it in the ears (I
treat both ears and my kids love the way it feels), this is not
essential oil so you can place it in the ears. I did recently learn
that you can also apply the oil around the ear with good effect. And
keep using for several days after the symptoms stop to make sure it is
really taken care of.
Also we had a baby with respiratory junk we couldn't get rid of
with Breathe and On Guard alone(for months). But when I started using
rosemary and orange on her chest (with coconut oil) it cleared up
quickly. When we were dealing with it my dr. told me to stay as far
away from the hospital as I could, to do firm percussions to the back
and chest and to keep a humidifier going. She is 4 now and still likes
me to pound on her back when she isn't feeling well : )
