[Everything doTERRA] Re: Help for getting off Doxepin & Alprazalom

Thanks everyone! I appreciate your help and I am going to give these
suggestions a try. I have the LLV pack and I've started using it this
week...I have headaches but I'm thinking they could be a result of
stress (mom has cancer) or withdrawals from the Doxepin/Alprazalom.
Or could jumping right into the full doses of LLV cause headaches
also?

Carly: No, I have not had any really bad withdrawal effects - other
than the headaches - but I think my doses were fairly low. I used 50
mg Doxepin nightly and .05 mg Alprazalom several nights a week. I
was using Doxepin for a few years, but only had the Alprazalom for
about a year, after I began having panic attacks that scared the
stuffing out of me. My first came at night last summer when the
power went out and we were plunged into complete darkness on a hot
night and I felt like I was suffocating so I appreciated having the
Alprazalom handy. But, in the last several months, I had been getting
alot of bladder infections and the doctor said one of the potential
side effects from these meds are increased bladder infections so I
thought I would see if I could go without them. One of my biggest
issues is my mom's illness and I do not handle stress well so I am
hoping that that some of these ideas will help me to stay grounded and
in control.

THank you again, everyone. Your help is sincerely appreciated.

Janice
