[Everything doTERRA] cancer

I have a fellow IPC whose mother was diagnosed with cancer. It is very
serious and they've started Chemo and are seeing a nature-path. The
problem is that the nature-path doesn't want the patient ingesting any
essential oils. She says with the decreased immune system it could be
very dangerous because of potential impurities, etc. She won't even
consider PB Assist. So they are taking the oils from the cancer protocol
and applying topically to the area where the cancer is.
Any suggestions? I know that doTerra is pure enough but its difficult
when you have a nature-path saying no absolutely not.
