Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: News / Updates / Materials

Dan, I think that you are in an excellent position to capitalize on! And this is what I'd do if I were in you ...

I assume you would have received an order form with your introductory IPC kit that is in British pounds? Using some of the brochures available to the US market, make up some of your own - changing the prices to pounds. You can base them on the doTERRA brochures, or brochures you download from Sharedoterra.com, builddoterra.com, or even those that you can find within this forum (usually in the form of attachments). If you don't have Microsoft Office, or Word, or Publisher, you can find a free opensource product at openoffice.org

I find, in making my own brochures and flyers, I learn so much more about the products than if I just read the Modern Essential book, or the doTERRA website.

If you have any experience creating websites, this will be super easy. If not, go to Wordpress.com and create a wordpress site called www.doterrauk.wordpress.com ... or something similar. Blog about doTERRA products. The more you blog, the more you research, and the more you research, the more you learn. An excellent, in depth, blog belongs to Holan Nakata, who is active on this forum. It can be found at www.holannakata.com and you'll find some amazing info there to back up many of the doTERRA claims.

As you continue on your IPC path, you'll have customers and IPC's who will have great testimonials for you. Use these on your site/blog and printed information as it adds credibility to what we do.

I understand your desire for credible information, and I'm sure that customer support can provide many of those answers for you. When you find them, post them on your website, or publish them in your brochures, or both!

I love that this company is really IPC driven, it forces many of us outside our comfort zones and gets us thinking in creative ways. It gets us talking in "our own voice" rather than regurgitating what we have learned through reading company-produced literature. And I know that I'm WAY more comfortable speaking as "Vikki" than I am speaking as "a generic doTERRA IPC". There is basic printed information available through the back office that you can build on and customize, take ideas from that and create your own doTERRA identity.

Where are you in the UK? I'm in the US now, but I'm originally from Norwich :o)

Thinkdoterra is nothing like doterra.com, once you get into it you will see the difference.
Also thinkdoterra is going to be global, so they will meet your needs.

If you can't believe our comments regarding the independent testing I don't know
what to tell you. If you want a statement from doTerra telling you how they do their
testing then email service and ask for one.

This company was founded and legally created so they would be an international company.
As each country starts to progress with IPC's and interest then doTerra works with them.

There are many countries that have IPC's purchasing the oils direct without any tools
at all.

When doTerra began here in the US we had no tools and created them within our groups.
Now when anyone asks us for information we help them any way we can.

We would like to do the same for you, in assisting you any way we can. We realize there
is a difference in costs and rules. We just barely got correct price lists and enrollment kits
for Australia and they have been active for about 3 years.

What can we send to you that would help you formulate what you need in the UK?

There will be some incredible information at convention this year and as always we will post
our notes to those who were not able to attend. Last year I sent the notes at the end of each day
so those interested could reply and ask questions.

Hi Pat

Thinkdoterra looks interesting, but then again, it looks like it has
the same information as the doterra.com site.  builddoterra.com I have
looked at and does have some good info, but again is lacking.

It is also hard for my immediate upline, because she is in the same
position as me.  It is hard being in the UK, as doterra is built very
much for the American market.

I will collate what info I can and build a folder, and then I think
(as advised here) to email service@doterra and see if I can push them
to get some information sorted.

Reading various blogs isn't much help because it's hard to know if the
info is accurate.

The query about the independent testing is more to do with 'who does
it' and how can we prove it is 'independent'.  Again, there should be
something to show potential customers that we can substantiate our
claims.

Thanks for your help Pat.

Dan
