I think that this is the case here! We have been under the influence of the profit-driven drug companies for so long that we (as a population) started to believe them. And the constant bombardment of tv commercials and magazine articles ... even though they cite horrific "potential" side effects ... have us thinking that nothing else can work.
I say let these people be and move on to the next one. Maybe when they see some success stories for themselves they will come on board. Until then, just do what you do and know that you are helping those who are ready to be helped. The others just aren't ready yet.
