Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: doTERRA comparison with other oil brands

I think it would be very helpful to post that information here so we all can print a copy out for our clients that "need proof".   In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with being skeptical, as long as you keep an open mind.

Hi Dan,

I understand where you are coming from and I would like to know what you are looking for as well.
As an aromatherapy instructor, I have tried many different "therapeutic oils" before and knew immediately doTERRA is pure when I smelled doTERRA EOs at first time.

I found some companies disclose their essential oils' constituents and its quantity on their website. Dr. Hill gave Essential Oil Certification Classes in Japan last week and gave us information about quantity of constituents for some oils (the differences between Lavender, grown in 4 different places etc).

Several my downlines in Japan attended his classes and sent me their memos.
I would be happy to send you a copy of regional comparison in some oils.
Please give me your email address if you would like to have it.

Please keep us posted when you find more scientific and academic information,
I will contact customer service to provide us those information as well.

Since what you and I are looking for is technical, my best bet is to contact customer service. Thank you for making me realize that we have customer service, I usually try to find it my self and forget about their support.

I am surprised you say we have "no need to compare".  When selling a
product, it is quite normal to be able to back up the claim that the
product is the best, with at least a small element of comparison.
Some people need to see that comparison, and this is linked to your
comment about educating them.  Comparing the product, and helping them
to understand that our oils are pure, and others have fillers is part
of the 'educating' process.

I would be surprised if doterra haven't done some form of testing to
be able to show that other oils have X amount of fillers... whereas
ours are truly 100% pure - because other oils claim to be 100% pure
too.

It would be nice to provide some facts.

However, I think I will try to use Tesco as an example.  Their foods
are branded as Tesco Value (cheap price/low quality), Tesco (normal
price/standard quality) and Tesco Finest (expensive/high quality).
