Hi Dan,
I too, appreciate your concern for a way to demonstrate the claim by comparison. I just returned from france where I was astounded by the beauty of the lavender there. If doterra only uses plants grown in their native habitat, that is a powerful thing in itself. I have tried growing things that are not native to my region and I can see how difficult it is for them to thrive.  This must have an effect on the chemical constituents of the plants oil.  I realize this is not a side by side chart for showing people the difference, but I personally choose not to waste time defending our claims. There are other things to be busy doing helping people who are in need and open minded. That's just my take on it. Be well and have fun healing with doterra.
