Re: [Everything doTERRA] TMJ

OK, thank you, Brooke. You just made it clear that I need to give up my last few precious drops of Frankincense. I'll live until I get more, but this gal is going to be a wonderful IPC as soon as I can make her decide that she needs to sign up. (She wants to, but we have to make it a need or it will never happen.)

Now, did you apply those directly to her jaw? I'll happily make her a blend of them neat, with FCO, or give her two sample bottles with some of each, whichever you think will be best.

Blessings,

An IPC on my team was in a terrible car accident last Fall.  She broke her Jaw and has had several problems since – including constant pain.  When she came to her first doTERRA Class, she came up afterwards and asked me for information to help with the pain.  I applied Balance, and Frankincense.   A couple minutes later she came up to me in tears because the pain was gone.  Of course, she is now an IPC – and uses the oils frequently for the pain and nerve damage.

What I have found to be successful is 2 tbsp of FCO with 2 drops of clove and 2 drops of oregano. Put it in your mouth and gentle push it around the mouth for 10 minutes.  Repeat a couple of times a day and apply Frankincense to the outer jaw area.

Hi,

I have a friend and future IPC with a recent diagnosis of TMJ. She has a keychain of some of our Family Physician Kit oils, plus a sample of On Guard, and wants to know what she can do for the pain instead of getting the 600 mg Motrin her dentist prescribed.

I've seen on here about the combination of Oregano and Lemon for a pain reliever, but need some advice for application and mixing a blend of it in a bottle for her. I also wanted to know if anyone has any other suggestions since this one isn't in the book.

My recommendations/offerings so far have been to try the On Guard for any jaw pain, Lavender for stress, and to offer to give her a free AromaTouch Technique session to relieve her stress. (Since she wants to sign up, it would be a way to introduce her to another way to use our oils too.) The only emotion balancing oils I have are Balance, Lavender, Patchouli, and AromaTouch.

Thank you in advance,
