I have gotten her off of diet drinks, but she does use Splenda. I will bring that to her attention. Thank you all for the hints. I do have melissa, so will use that on her with AromaTouch! I'll keep you informed!

I am not a doctor, and I haven't met your daughter, but if it were me, I
would check both the artificial sweetener thing, and a VIRUS. Melissa is
something that comes to my mind that could be helpful for your daughter. It
is able to break the blood-brain barrier, and if it is something Viral - it
would help it a ton. I wish we could help more. What a scary thing to have
happening to her!

Does your daughter consume many products sweetened with splenda and or
aspartame? I have no personal experience with this but I was just
google-ing the symptoms and found many stories of people suffering
similar symptoms who found a connection to artificial sweeteners.
