RE: [Everything doTERRA] Aroma Touch Technique

May I add a couple of thoughts.  You can check your ‘state’ or countries requirements – because everyone is different.  Some cities require licenses of some kind – depending on where you live.

Also – it is NOT a massage – but you still need to be aware of health conditions that could cause a ‘detox’ or similar symptoms from doing any technique.    It wouldn’t hurt to have some sort of ‘disclaimer’ that you have people sign if you are concerned.

I have heard from Lil that the cost ranges between $15 and $18 for the oils used – but that also depends on how many drops etc….and the size of a person can change that.  Remember that your time is important – and you can and should be compensated in some way – or you may find that they won’t put as much ‘value’ on the technique.

Another way to encourage clients – offer then to ‘purchase’ their own AromaTouch Kit (you can get anywhere from 8-10) applications in a Kit – and they use their own oils, and you charge for your time.

The AromaTouch is a powerful technique – and if we treat it as such – others will also.

Lots of Love – Brooke Magleby

To add to that: The Aroma Touch Technique is not a massage.  We are applying the oils to the spine and feet.  And unless we are licensed massage therapists we can only charge for the oils used.  The person receiving the ATT needs to understand it is not a massage upfront.  If you are going to do the technique on people you don't know, I would have them sign a disclaimer to protect you.  Are there side affects of the ATT?  Yes, usually great ones!  I had one client with MS who was sick afterwards and didn't want another one.  I explained how her body was cleansing.  She's now had several.  Her health is improving.

Are you ugoing to charge?  If so, we are only able to charge for the oils we use.  Most of us who are not LMT's do not charge.
