[Everything doTERRA] HCG problems

I have a friend who recently did the HCG diet. As soon as she finished
the diet her foot swelled up and has not gone back down to normal. It
has now been one month of a swollen foot/ankle. She wears a nylon to
help with the pressure, but Dr's cannot figure out what is going on.
Their best bet is that it's Gout. Has anyone heard of this happening
or does anyone have an idea on what she can do to help with this
issue?
