They steam distill the oils at not more than 115 degrees. When we cook with the oils on a high temp, we keep the flavor but lose the therapeutic benefits. It has been suggested if you want both to cook your dish and add the oils at the end.
When we use the oils on our skin and then apply the heat, the oils have already started getting into the skin and the heat drives them in. That process does not heat up the oil, but the body to help facilitate the oils.

I remember Justin telling me about leaving his oils in the car when he was in Arizona (?), he had to throw the oils away. Mainly because it was all day long. I know that others use the oils for the hot rock treatment with great success. The heat from the rocks drive the oils into the body, nothing wrong with that.
It's leaving them in the heat for an extended period of time.
I cook with the oils all the time. The flavors are extraordinary.

I would love to be able to leave an oil bag in my car.. but was worried about our hot summer days,, and cold winter nights.. so any info would help..
