Well, we use the oils in cooking. The OnGuard throat lozenges base has to be cooked at a high temperature to get to the hard-crack stage. I am willing to guess that it is still pretty hot when they add the oil. I add oils when I make my own suckers, and they still seem to work ok. That's 300-310 F, a pretty hot temperature. That's all I know about it!

I live in St. George and would not leave my oils in my car in the summer and for most of the winter. When it is 50 or 60 outside, the inside heat of our cars can still get up to 80 or 90.
