Re: [Everything doTERRA] Help! Preeclampsia!

Has she had her 25 hydroxy D level checked? Of the two tests [25(OH)D & 1,25(OH)D] the 25(OH)D is preferred. LC-MS/MS measures D2 & D3 separately. RIA measures total and Liaison is replacing RIA. It's good to cross check for accuracy so do both if you can.

Her levels should probably be between 50-100 ng/ml.

It's recommended that pregnant mothers should take 4000 IUs and nursing mothers 6400IUs/day

Therapeutic vitamin D levels for adults are 5000-10000 IUs/ day

You might try cypress on the bottoms of the feet and over the heart.

Hi,

My sister-in-law is in the ICU after having an emergency C-section
Friday night. She was induced several weeks early due to Preeclampsia.
Her blood pressure is not coming down and the medications she has been
given, do not seem to be making much of a difference. Anyone had any
experience treating Preeclampsia or extremely high blood pressure with
the oils?

Thanks!

Michelle
