[Everything doTERRA] Lactose Intolerance

Have a friend with a young grand-daughter that has lactose
intolerance. I have read the book and see that Lemongrass is
suggested. Any other suggestions anyone has to alleviate symptoms?
Thanks!

RE: [Everything doTERRA] SOMETHING SIMPLE TO MAKE FOR A COUNTRY WOMENS MEETING

Yes  - just a basic recipe – with 4-5 drops of essential oil in it instead of vanilla or something else.  I make fudge all the time with Peppermint Oil – It is a huge hit!

Good Luck!

I’ve made a sugar cookie recipe, and added a couple drops of wild orange – then made the frosting with a few drops of Citrus Bliss – and people rave about them.  I’ve also made a 5-bean soup recipe – and when it calls for Thyme and Marjoram – I use a drop of the oil instead of the spice.  Works Great.  Sometimes you can take a recipe – like a fudge recipe – and add a couple drops of Peppermint oil to it – and it tastes FABULOUS!

As a matter of fact – here’s a testimonial for all of you that just happened last weekend:

“My friend was making a special cake to demonstrate at a womens’ meeting.  It was a Chocolate Mint Torte, and she wasn’t happy with the taste of the Mint filling she had made.  So she asked my opinion as to the ‘Peppermint Oil’ she was using to flavor the dish.  She brought the bottle of the Peppermint flavoring over to my house, and I pulled out my bottle of doTERRA Peppermint Oil so we could compare the two.  The ‘high quality’ Peppermint Oil Flavoring she had purchased from a Baking store was nasty, and she loved our doTERRA Peppermint!  She couldn’t wait to go home and try my doTERRA Peppermint Oil in her dish.  It turned out FANTASTIC!  She had left the other flavoring at my home, and my husband just happened to pick it up and smell it.  He disliked it so much, he dumped it down the sink, and threw away the bottle!  Talk about a great introduction for doTERRA …at the demonstration, she proudly held up the bottle of doTERRA Peppermint oil when everyone asked what she had used to flavor the cake with!  Little does she know what else it can do…but that story is to be continued…..!”

Well I have the perfect recipe for football season.
Frankincense and Lemon Hot Dogs.
My husband says they are so good he doesn't like to put anything on them. Go figure!
I get the no GMO, no Nitrate Organic Apple Gate Farms Hot Dogs in the health food store. They are frozen, so I just run warm water over them to thaw just enough to get them separated. Then put in about 2 to 3 table spoons of No GMO no Gluten, Organic Earth Balance butter. I make sure they are browned on every side, then I pierce them with a fork. Then take the melted butter out of the pan, and add 3 drops of Lemon and 2 drops of Frankincense and drizzle it back onto the dogs after turning the heat down to low or simmer. Roll the dogs in the now seasoned butter for about 2 min. Take the dogs out of the pan, then take your whole grain or wheat bread buns and place them in the buttered pan till they get just a tiny bit brown. Then put the dogs into the buns and eat....yay! Yummy and very easy to make. Enjoy,
.

I have a great idea, we'll have a fund raiser and send Rob to Australia to cook for all of our team. He is the most amazing cook I have ever met. And the salad dressing he makes are definitely 5 star. I did find out that the apple cinnamon syrup I made goes really well over cream cheese.

I wonder if Rob has noticed that everythingdoterra is doing a cook book with oils and raw food recipes????

And for everyones information this will be ready at our next convention and all proceeds will go to Helping Hands.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Epilepsy

Epilepsy and Frankincense are the reason we started using doTERRA oils and are now part of the doTERRA family.  My husband is epileptic and had reached a point where he was having petit-mal seizures every day and a grand-mal nearly every week, in spite of several medication changes.  A friend brought us a bottle of Frankincense and asked him to put it on his feet every day.  The petit-mals stopped abruptly and completely, and he has had only two grand-mals since starting the oils.  His regimen for epilepsy now includes the LLW/LLV pack, Balance in the morning, Serenety in the evening, and Frankincense and Clary Sage morning and evening.  He puts the oils either on his feet or at the base of his skull and down his spine.  He likes to carry a small bottle of Frankincense in his lunch container at work as well, both for epilepsy and other health benefits.  It is my understanding that Frankincense acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory and regulatory agent in the nervous system, and many seizures are caused by sudden inflammation in the brain causing over-activity of the nervous system.

He is still on medication.  We also have had questions regarding possible interactions.  So far any oils experts, doctors or Naturopaths we have spoken with have said it is not a concern, but I am still looking for more information.  As far as what oils to avoid, most usage guides will have cautionary information listed under the individual oils and blends that include epilepsy (under safety).  You can also find this info on the everythingessential.me site.  Off the top of my head, basil, wintergreen, rosemary and deep blue are no-no's.  You can find recommendations for use specific to epilepsy under epilepsy or seizures.

Hope this helps!  -Kristina

The yeast is Saccharomyces Cervisiae. It is rendered inactive at the
end of the culturing process through homogenization and dehydration.

We often suggest that people blend the contents of the capsules with
food if they cannot swallow capsules. I do not have a liquid form of
the supplements in development. Liquid supplements are very unstable
and it is very difficult to deliver the amounts of nutrients you get
in our system in liquid form.

The Microplex VMz has a neutral taste and can be blended with most
foods. The xEO Mega has a very strong marine taste and is difficult to
mask. The Alpha CRS+ is very bitter but could be blended in a
smoothie.

Sincerely,

Rob Young

Re: [Everything doTERRA] 3 yr old always sick

I forgot to mention: Zendocrine is for helping cleanse the liver, colon, kidneys, etc.  It was formulated for regular users of meds and alcohol drinkers to keep the liver health.  My notes say it is for adults, but does anyone know if it is okay for children?

Re: [Everything doTERRA] 3 yr old always sick

You may want to add Melissa to the onGuard.  With Melissa you don't need a full drop.  It is our most expensive oil.  At convention it was suggested to place your finger on the top of the bottle, tip it and use what is left on the finger.  Melissa can enter the cell and kill the virus.  It can also inhibit the virus from entering.

I'm putting this question out there:  Could her "allergies" actually be the body warding off the meds that

she was given?

One thing I do with my granddaughter who comes home with rashes and fevers etc from day care: I bring her my box of oils and tell her to pick one out.  She always picks out the one that ends up helping her!  Trust your instincts and hers.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: PB Assist?????

Let's hope they're getting rid of the hydrogenated oil. I will never
take this product for this very reason. Also, this ingredient really
takes away from our CPTG standard and turns it into double-standard. I
don't mean to be harsh but how can you reconcile the world's purest
oils when one of them is hydrogenated?

Re: [Everything doTERRA] DOterra Oils and the GAPS diet for paediatrics

I would suggest, going by my "gut" instinct here.  Frankincense and Helichrysum on the bottom of his feet, along his spine base to brain stem and over the area of the stomach where the esophagus and stomach meet. Remember to be consistent and quite a few times a day.  His mom will know the frequency (how many times) to apply them to her child.

I have trigeminal neuralgia, yes i know not even close to being the same thing but is a neural disorder, and Frankincense is the ONLY thing that is healing it.

[Everything doTERRA] Kidney Proteins high in child

I have a friend who’s 8 year old is undergoing tests to figure out what is wrong with her kidneys.  She has loss of appetite, lost 5 pounds in a week, and they say she has high protein levels in her Kidneys.  They are worried her Kidneys are not working properly, but not really getting any answers. They have temporarily diagnosed it as D.S.P which causes inflammation in the blood vessels. It causes the blood vessels to bleed in the capillaries in the skin, joints and kidneys.  She has red spots all over her legs and not much energy.    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Also, I have a young man who has severe hives all over his body, nausea, breathing problems, etc.   The doctors have determined it to be a very bad virus – and I am getting his mom some MELISSA – any ideas on a ‘dosage’.

I was so glad to read the posts on peppermint and bleeding. I had been drinking lemon and peppermint every morning before breakfast for a couple of months to cleanse my liver. Then I thought if it's good to do once a day maybe my liver will cleanse even faster if I take it three times a day before each meal. I NEVER get bloody noses, but in two days I got two SEVERE bloody noses. It really scared me. I was afraid I would need to go to the hospital to get them to stop.  The only thing I could figure was causing it was the peppermint. I don't know why or how I came to that conclusion, because I'm very new to EO, but I did. Anyway, I stopped taking peppermint three times a day and went back to once and day and I haven't had anymore problems.
