Frankincense on baby's crown/head, and back

Myrrh on baby's umbilicus to help cord dry quicker and seal the
opening to prevent any infection going into that main entrance to the
body.

Balance on baby's feet

Geranium and lemon on baby's feet if jaundice at all to help support
liver in breaking up bilirubin.

Basil on mom's breast to help increase milk supply.

Frankincense & Lavender 10 drops of each in 15ml empty essential
bottle with a spray top (from aromatools.com) fill up to top with
water.  Use this to spay on perineum after birth to sooth and heal
during postpartum time.

Moms that have their babes circumcised have used this same spray on
the circumcised area; they know from personal experience how soothing
it feels.

[Everything doTERRA] Nocturia - getting up at night to pee

Anyone familiar with nocturia? Or the need to get up several times a
night to pee? I have seen cypress recommended for bed wetting. I
assume this would fall under a different category, but may also be
similar. Thanks for any insights.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Hormone help

I am a Bowen Therapist but live in Australia...Bowen Therapy is a
dynamic system of muscle and connective tissue therapy that is
sometimes called the 'homoeopathy of body work' that stimulates the
body to heal itself, often profoundly. Rather than focusing on a
single complaint Bowen addresses the entire body via the autonomic
nervous system....That is Bowen in a nutshell.I am sure there are
therapists in America. There is lots of info on the internet. If I can
help you with any questions please feel free to ask.
Kind Regards
Kathy.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: hives/uti

Have you been having the cranberry juice??? If not I would get some
cranberry capsules also. Many years ago I was almost hospitalised with
same problem and had stronger and stronger antibiotics which gave me
many other probs! Finally took things into my own hands and the
cranberry capsules and juice worked wonders!!!! Now I am trying the
oils but am also having the cranberry juice. So far so good.
Kind Regards
Kathy.

What is Bowen Therapy?  I mean - how does it work?  Where would I go to look into it?

Thanks so much!

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Hormone help

Hi Cristi
You could also look at Bowen Therapy. There are procedures that have
helped all kinds of gynaecological problems including helping to
concieve. It is a gentle non invasive body work.
Kind Regards
Kathy.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Cyst

I would try that too - I don't have helichrysum yet but I really want to try it on stretch marks - think it would work?

I remember my upline saying she gave helichrysum for her unbelieving-essential-oils-would-never-work dad to put on a facial growth(I can't remember what it was).  It worked so he started getting it for himself.   http://everythingessential.me/Oils/Helichrysum.html

Any ideas on how to remove a fattycyst. I am putting neat frankincense
once a day on it at the moment. I am open to suggestions.
Thanks.

[Everything doTERRA] Detox Bath

I've read that you can take detox baths with Epsom Salts. I put 1 cup
Epsom salts mixed with 4 drops lavender, 4 drops geranium and 4 drops
lemongrass. I put my water as hot as I could stand it.

I could only handle sitting in the tub for 30 minutes. Did I do it
right? My feet and ankles have swelled up and I have a terrible
headache. I'm thinking I may have done too much?

Has anyone had experience with this?

Thanks,
Kari

RE: [Everything doTERRA] hives/uti

Shannon – I am not an expert, but in looking in the Modern Essentials book – there are some other recommendations.

If it is an 'infection' – whether it be viral or bacterial, I would suggest On-Guard or Melaluca with Lemon on the bottom of your feet as well as in capsules internally – for the infection part of it.

Other recommendations in the book were: Purify, Lemongrass and Geranium applied topically to the area with a warm compress.  Doing this several times throughout the day would be helpful.  Maybe even alternate doing those topically with On-Guard too.

The hives could be related, but I don't know.  I would definitely look at your diet, and suggest not having any sugar, yeast products or dairy for a little while.  Those can compound both.

Good luck and I hope you are feeling better SOON!

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Hormone help

Thank you all so much.  Shannon, no I haven't had a blood test for pregnancy.  But I've taken multiple pregnancy tests over the last week or two and they've all been negative.  And yes, I've been on medications to regulate my cycle.  Clomid worked the best.  But it's bad to take long term.  Also, sometimes my doctor would have me take a progesterone pill to stimulate a period.  But all of it, I hear, is negative to do long term.

Thanks for those who have posted links and ideas.  I will check out every avenue!!

I also assume that they have tried to put you on medications to get your period to start or be more regular? So I guess that is 2 questions?? Subject: [Everything doTERRA] Hormone help

Okay, everyone. I really am in desperate need of some HELP. I am still relatively new to this group and to the oils in general. But this is a problem that I've had for YEARS. (Actually, for as long as I can remember - since I started my period when I was 13.) It's gotten increasingly worse throughout the years. But the past few weeks have been the most frustrating, perhaps, of all. I know that there is something "messed up" with my hormones. I have been to doctor after doctor, had tests done, etc and no one has been able to help me!! This has gone on for years. Both my mom and my sister actually went through menopause in their 30's. I am 31 and am worried this might happen to me too. My husband and I have wanted to have a baby for almost 6 years. (We were able to adopt a beautiful little baby boy last September!! But we'd still like to try for me to get pregnant, too, if we can.) We did infertility treatments, tests - everything you can imagine. But doctors always said my tests looked fairly "normal" and that we SHOULD be able to get pregnant. BUT ... I don't even ovulate on my own! So how can my hormones be normal??!! I only had 4 periods total in the entire year of 2009. My cycles are very irregular. I was on clomid for over a year. THEN doctors told me it was actually bad to be on it for that long. (Why didn't the mention that BEFORE I was on it forever?!). Also, I had a breast reduction surgery in 2007 and now, 2 1/2 years later, my breasts have grown back to almost the size they were pre- surgery. I know that this is hormonal. Okay - I've ranted enough :) Now let me explain my current frustration since you know a bit of background. I have been doing the GX and PB assist. This is my third month doing the cleanse. I also have been taking the LLW VERY faithfully. I started drinking "sassy water." And I've cut out sugar completely (I've done this in the past and was very successful). Yet - the past couple of weeks, I've been GAINING weight. Like CRAZY! My breasts are sore and swollen (and growing! ugh!) and I feel almost like I have cramps (like a period). But I'm NOT pregnant. And my cycles are so irregular that I don't even know if I'm having PMS. But I don't think that I am because my last period was only a couple of weeks ago. (And normally my periods come every 2-4 months or so) It's entirely too frustrating. I'm not going to lie. I am normally very cheerful about everything. But I'm having one of "those weeks" where I'm letting the frustrations of it all get to me. I feel like I'm being "so good" and doing everything that I should be doing, but only getting worse. Is there ANYone in this group that knows about hormones?? My husband and I are DESPERATE to find some answers!! Or do you know of anyone to recommend for me to see? We live in Utah, so if you know of anyone in the area, I would be so so so appreciative and grateful! I'd better stop this post before I break out into crazy tears! :) I'm super grateful I found this group and hope that we can (FINALLY!) get some answers! Re: [Everything doTERRA] Hormone help

Cristi,
did you registar for Dr Hill's hormone webinar tonight or attend that 1st 1? I would highly recommend that. His information is well rounded and informative on all the things in our environment that may be influencing our hormones. Being a hormone case myself, I totally agreed with what he said and most of the steps he talks about are ones I have taken to get to this point of pregnancy successfully. It took me about 2 years of hard work though. I started out on bioidentical hormone therapy and some of it was super helpful for me. I have since transitioned to herbal support as well as oil support. My case was actually premenopausal stuff too in my late 20's...it super stinks but I feel is managable and changeable. I have hope for you and as frustrating as things are it takes HUGE patience! Nice thing is, you are looking into things that aren't going to hurt you in the long run, if anything, they will bless you in some way along the way. If you can watch Dr Hill, I'm gonna say it is well worth your time to hear from him.

Call me for anything!
Love ya,
Chelsea

Thanks, Cristi :) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Everything doTERRA" group.
