Sounds to me like they are all, either/or both...VERY toxic and/or allergic to the very nutrition they desperately need!  They will need to eliminate their allergies and/or they will need to detox SLOWLY and then add one thing at a time back in VERY SLOWLY.  It can be done and it needs to be done for the benefit of their long term health quality.
