Just a bit of information you might want to know abut the HCG diet. I was planning on going on the diet a while ago, but really wanted to know more info about it. I have a friend who is a doctor that lives down the street from me, so I went to him to ask him about the diet to see if it was all it was cracked up to be. He told me he had done alot a research on the HCG diet and had found out that it is not a new diet.  This same diet came out in the 60's. There was a study done on the diet at that time where they took a group of people that were on the diet with the shots, and the same amount of people that just did the diet without the shots.  They found that the 2nd group lost the same amount of weight as the people that were taking the shots. There was no difference except, the ones taking the shots payed quite a bit more money to lose the weight vs the ones on the diet without the shots. Just going on the diet alone and saving your money from the shots could leave you enough to buy more oils.  Gosh, thats worth it in and of itself.

You cannot use fats of any kind such as  even topical moiturizers with oils in them; fats will prevent it from doing its job. This is only true for the 40 day diet /HCG use portion of the plan, it is ok to use once you are on the 6 weeks maintenance.
