She is coming in May and will get me an outline soon.  May will work better for her - sorry I thought I sent out an email!

I add, olive oil, coconut milk, and good stuff like that.  I get them from a girl who makes them using her own goats so the goat milk is fresh - she is in Pennsylvania and
I found her on ebay.  I'll look her up if you'd like and give you her name - she had the best price and free shipping.

homemade soap from scratch has to have lye or it could not be soap. Lye mixed with the oils creates a chemical reaction called saponification . After the the curing or cooking process, depending which soap making method you are using, the lye no longer exists in the soap. It is an amazing thing to make soap, but you do have to be very careful while using the lye. I only make soap when I am home alone. If you want to eliminate the risks of having lye around your house you can just bypass that step and buy melt and pour blocks and add your own essential oils and additives. Here is a soap making blog that gives a lot of good info. http://candleandsoap.about.com/od/soapmakingbasics/u/soapuserpath1.htm Robin http://robinlemon.com On Mar 10, 9:50 pm, ashleejo <ashle...@msn.com> wrote: > Does anyone know any great home-made soap recipes?  I would love to > try to make some.  I've been looking online and so many of them > contain Lye.  Is it really a necessary ingredient? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Everything doTERRA" group.
