Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Accute Diverticulitis/and Shingles/update

Update on my mom and grandson...wow, what a whirlwind week and weekend since last Tuesday. I thank you all so much for your continued prayers and suggestions. This is what has transpired:
On Tuesday night, after the dr. prescribed another antibiotic (three now) on Monday afternoon (and we had to wait to get the prescription filled....). She didn't take it till Tuesday night as it was a once a day, evening type antibiotic. She had gotten 3 doterra pro-biotic pellets in her by then. She took the antibiotic around 10:30pm and said she felt funny immedieately. Said she wanted to go to bed cause she felt dizzy and her neck started to hurt. She thought she was just laying on the couch funny. About 4am she woke up in extreem pain, and shaking all over uncontrolably, seizure like, called the dr. then called me. They said to get her over to ER asap. She was having an allergic reaction. We didn't get in to ER till 6am. They  gave her her first solid meal...This was Wednesday am. the 17th. They gave her a turkey sandwitch, and only when I left her to go to work for an hour and then canceled the rest of my private students so I could get back. she kept it all in...yeah. They released her at 3:00 in the afternoon, taking her off all antibiotics and pro-biotic and gave her Hydrocodone-pain and cyclobenzeprene-muscle relaxer. Sent her home after 2 shots of dilotted-pain narcotic. So I got some more solid food down her and continued with the doterra probiotic as well as some ensure. Friday am...she could hardly walk, and her left arm could not move without her right arm helping, and couldn't turn her head at all. I had to help her get up and down...toilet, chair, bed, car  etc. I did all the oils Pat suggested and she said it helped the pain somewhat. (Thanks Pat- I was agressive too, every half hour or so). Stayed the night with her...couldn't leave her alone. She had an appt. with the gastrointerologist and he took onle look at her and said she needed to go back to her internest cause he couldn't do anything for her. Her internest is her ostiopath. Her primary Doctor. So I called the Ostio...and could not get through till 10 min. before they closed at 5:00pm. Got her in, and the dr. did an assesment, called an abulance and sent her to the ER...again with a direct admit. Said she was tacacardic and hypoxic. Yea, no kidding. So it's wall to wall people when we got there, and we had to wait in the hall on a stretcher with the EMT's till the nurse could asser her...2 hours later. She had a direct admit...the dr didn't see her till another hour and a half. They gave her some morphene and took some more blood. Another hour went by till results. The dr on call was very rouygh with her...made her cry...I was so angry. Then after 5 hours, they sent her home....Said everything came back just fine. And of course they released her when I wasn't there...I went to the restroom. Go figure. I was livid. And of course the dr. could not be found for me to talk to him. So I took her home, tried to continue all the "meds" and doterra. Did not leave her alone all day...and she got progressively worse. It was Sat. night and she spiked a fevor. Lathered her with Lavender and Peppermint. It came down only 2 tenths of a degree. Finally got a hold of the dr. and he sent her to another hospital where they admitted her right away. She was in observation for two days and they they released her to a rehab center last night. She will be there at least a week. No more meds! Yeah! All this was because of an alergic reaction to the antibiotic. She has already gained mobility back in her neck and arm. Feet are getting better. She has had two PT sessions and has leaqrned how to get up and down on her own. So things are looking up. Thank you all for your responses, and sorry for such a long blog here. It's just been very fruestating. And my grandson is still having trouble. He is an other story. Love you all and thanks so much.

Hi I would like to share an option I have used many times, most
recently with my husband who had the same problem after surgery. I am
a Certified Nutritional Consultant and found this to be effective.
First trial was on a young baby who was wasting away. Take 8 oz.
boiled SKIM milk and put in the blender. Add 1 heaping teaspoon of
carob powder with a little stevia and blend. Drink one of these at
least 3-4 times a day. The carob has the right kind of pectin and
also soothes the gut. The pectin provides a very mild kind of bulk
which helps to slow the diahrea. I was able to heal a bleeding bowel
in my own gut with this method. Mine was a result of pain meds after
a tooth surgery. Now I would use the oils for the pain. Hope this
helps. If she can't use boiled skim milk you can use rice milk.
