Re: [Everything doTERRA] Oils in ears

You are probably fine. The oils are so powerful that they do suggest you
not get them into the ear canal as a safety precaution. You bath was
diluted enough that it would not hurt you.
I would suggest caution in all things.

I'm relatively new to EO, and I know that everything says not to drip
oils into the ear canal. This makes sense to me. I was taking a bath
this evening (lavender and wild orange...mmmm) and had my head
(specifically my ears) under water for a while. I then was thinking
about whether or not that was OK. If the oils are diluted into a bath,
and the water from the bath gets in your ears, is that harmful? (This
was about 3 drops of lavender, about 4 drops of wild orange, and a 2/3
full standard bath tub.) I know most of us aren't doctors, I'm just
wondering if anyone knows the answer. It's too late for tonight (I
dried my ears out with cotton swabs when I got out) but if it's not
good, I should probably avoid doing that again. Anyone?

Thanks :)
