I have a sister getting her B.S. in Chemistry at UVU. She is currently testing DT oils and YL oils at the university on their MS/GC machine. If anyone would like to donate oils for her to test from ANY company please mail them to Amberlee Neibaur at  724 W 1000 N orem Utah 84057. They need to be at least 2ml and UNOPENED. When she finishes the testing I will publish as much data as I can on my blog at healyourhome.blogspot.com. So far she has tested lemon, lavander and peppermint. When the DT lemon sample came up everyone in the lab went WOW! That is the most beautiful sample we have seen. It had almost textbook purity! The YL lavander had some synthetic camphor in it. The two peppermints had very different readouts but she's still getting more info on the different constituents so I'll hear more about that one later.  I also have another sister at Weber state who has been involved in a study comparing traditional antibiotics, essential oils and collidial silver. They are compiling their data and when I can I will put that on my blog as well. So far she said that the collidail silver failed to inhibit any bacteria growth at every concentration they used. Some oils did very well at inhibiting bacteria, some did not. Interestingly the only antibiotic that inhibited all bacteria was tetracycline, the other two weren't as effective.
