I have had two daughters have the condition bad enough for them to need the surgery and the other two not enough to need surgery just grew out of it.

The most important thing to do is to try and keep her urine as "clean" as possible. I do think the gx assist is important - remember to not skip the pb assist as this is even more important or the poor thing will even more infections.

 

If there is someone out there who can recommend how to strengthen a kidney this would be good advice considering a lot! of damage is done from the urine from the bladder flushing back to the kidneys every time the child uses the bathroom.

 

Also I am sure that they told your friend this but these children who have this condition need to urinate with both feet flat on the floor as it helps to fully empty the bladder.
