Re: [Everything doTERRA] Joint pain from kidney failure

I attended a seminar with Dr. Sue Lawton and she shared a couple of greal oil applications that are
gentle and effective.
Get some epsom salts and to the salt add Myrrh, Frankincense and Lemon. Epson Salt use 2 cups, addl 4-5 drops each of the recommended oil. Mix Salt well. Add salt w/oil to warm water and soak his feet in it. It will start pulling out the toxins and excess liquid. This was one suggestion, the other one is:

Get two glass pyrex dishes, heat in oven not to exceed 180 degrees. While the dishes are heating place Frankicense, Lemon and Myrrh on the bottom of his feet, Use plenty of these oils.
Place the thick towel on the floor to set the glass dishes on.
Place very heavy boot socks on his feet or double heavy socks. Place the glass dishes on the towels and have him set his feet in them and cover the feet and dishes with a bath towel.
Let sit until heat is gone.

Either one of these applications should be effective, even though you may have to repeat them to keep the pathways open for his medication to work.

As with anything we do, be cautious and intuitive with his condition.

Keep us posted on his condition,

Blessings to you all,
Pat

I had a friend in Kidney Failure and it was recommended by Lil Shepherd to
use Frankincense and Myrrh. I believe those are two oils that would only do
good and not stress the system out too much.
Good Luck - and wish your friend our best!

Subject: [Everything doTERRA] Joint pain from kidney failure

Someone contacted me to ask about RDT for her son. She says, "I have a
son in Kidney Failure and was wondering if it would be a good thing
for him to do? He is End Stage 4-5 meaning dialysis and transplant in
the next 6-9 months. He is having joint pain in knees from the excess
potassium etc."

My sense is that using a lot of oils, even much milder ones than the
"Italian kitchen ones" could be pretty demanding on his system. Any
suggestions besides wintergreen and Roman chamomile applied on site?

Thanks!
