RE: [Everything doTERRA] AromaTouch Technique and Professionals - what would you do?

Good question! I would say that you would love to schedule a time to get
together where you can watch the dvd and then help him to find the most
economical way for him to get started (buy the kit retail from you, sign up
to get it wholesale for the same price, or preferred customer, etc.)

I would not give him the dvd without a plan and a commitment from him. I
guess he could always bypass you and order the dvd retail off of doTERRA? (I
never checked this avenue). Don't give away the farm! If you loan him the
dvd, then what? He can then go buy cheap oils, copy the technique and then
blow you off when you try to reach him? If this person is really interested
in the doTERRA oils he will find the time to get together. If he insists on
you loaning him the dvd without setting a time with you in person or on the
phone to help him order the oils I would be a little suspicious to his real
intention. It sounds like he already received a treatment, that is enough
for someone to know (ESPECIALLY A BODYWORKER!) if they want to order the
oils, learning the ATT can come after they sign up!

Some might disagree with my approach; however, I have years of corporate
sales experience where I sold multi-million dollar telecommunications
systems. Potential customers will use you and waste your time and resources
if you let them. Set a sincere boundary while taking care of their needs.
Set a plan with him, find out his timeline and don't forget to ask for the
order.

Good Luck!

Subject: [Everything doTERRA] AromaTouch Technique and Professionals - what
would you do?

Hi, we have a question from a IPC and we would appreciate your wisdom
and experience to help give an answer thanks. If a bodywork
professional receives an AromaTouch who has indicated he wants to do
the AromaTouch training and likely will buy the oils (has to to do the
technique) but he wants to borrow the AromaTouch DVD to watch first.
We hopefully will get AromaTouch in our area this year and we have
offered to teach it in advance of the aromatouch so he can do it but
wont be certified until he learns from Dr Hill at the course.
What would you do in this circumstance? Thanks for your wisdom.
