I have been trying to post but my computer is acting up, so I apologize if this post shows up twice.
I am a proud Mom to my DD (and found out today 2nd DD is on the way soon). It breaks my heart to think of a helpless mother trying to care for her child in the midst of this tragedy. I currently am working as a flight attendant and am committed along with other co-workers, to do all that we can to help. If anyone reading this msg would like to donate any baby supplies ( used and unused) food, diapers, clothes, first aid supplies. And can get them to a major airport I am going to try a coordinate p/u's (w/i the US). to go hopefully as soon as next week. I am in Atlanta but willing to travel. plz contact me with any questions

Hello Karen. I am inspired by your message. You know, I am also a single mom of 2 grown up girls, 25 and 27. They are both nice and responsible daughters. Since they are both of marrying age now, I am trying to prepare myself to being alone one of these days but no matter how I tried, I can't imagine myself living alone. I am an auditor and will be retiring soon. I wonder how I can cope up with being alone especially when I don't have work anymore. Hope I can find friends here whom I can chat with, spend time, share thoughts, laughter and some activities. God bless

I have friends that I didn't have time to socialize before. There are so many group of people just like us. There are many restaurants that have bands while you eat. I turn on music and chi's and I dance around the house. We ride my 4 wheeler, hurts to walk, so we ride slowly in the woods w/ dogs. I would take long baths but no hot water tank.lol. If I could keep glasses on me nose, I would read romance novels. lol like I used to when he was small. The chi's keep me dealing w/ people and I have met so many ppl becasue of them. The local library's are having teaching sessions and they rent dvd's on your card.
I had planned to go to the beaches after he reached 18. But my beachy friends moved back to my inland home town.lol oh well.
Fishin can be found anywhere.
I teach little 3 rd graders Sunday school every 2 weeks.It is the lite of my life. they fill me with so much love.
The world is your oyster. So look in your local paper. how about yAHOO GROUPS! tHERE ARE SO MANY PPL who can't get away and they would love to talk about your life m they hate theirs.,lol and they are all about the same.lol
I used to paint(by numbers)lol , puzzles, crochet,kiddie easy projects then save them for presents for the year coming.
I'm 52 used to be a hot lil momma, and in the last 4 years. have had 2 friends who need me as much as I need them. they are dying, and need my love. I need their love too. We laugh. love and LIVE
You only get one go round in this life. JUST DO IT!
